Betty's Story
09/09/17 Time for another update - life goes faster and faster!!
My Granddaughter graduated from NAU in May of 2016 and is currently working on graduate work - in Tucson temporarily and will be going back up to NAU next Fall.
Have one cat now - Harry the maine coon and have a dog named Ziggy Marly - he is a Borgie (1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Corgie) drives the cat wild!! My son lives in Tucson is doing very well. I am semi0retired these days, still working at Daniels/Nicolson but down to 3 days a week! Still love the Diamondbacks and looking forward to the 2017 playoffs!!
Life
My Pets
Currently down to one indoor cat - Maine coon named Harry, and one outdoor cat - long hair named Violet. Looking to get another dog maybe pretty soon!
My Kids
I was blessed with two children - Lee Ann (1970) and; K.C. (1977), and one grand daughter Robin Li (1994).
Lee Ann passed over in 1997 and I am raising my grand daughter Robin Li, with the help of my son, AND having a great time...Expand for more
- it really is eaiser the second time!! UPDATE my granddaughter is graduating from Thunderbird High School on the 29Th of May 2012 and will be attending NAU in the Fall. She is a beautiful young lady and we have such a great time - it has kept me young keeping up with her and her friends!
My Job
I have been in the Insurance field since graduation and after all these year I still enjoy my job!! I am the Administrator of Daniels/Nicolson Insurance Agency and have experienced insurance from the bottom to the top. I have been with my current employer for over 20 years and hope not to have to train a new boss again !! I love my boss and the people who work for me - other than winning the Power Ball or finding that millionaire - I will continue as long as possible. UPDATE Still at the same company and still enjoying what I do!
AND now we have the World Series Champs - GO D-backs!!!!!!! (Maybe one more time!!) UPDATE Yep I am and always will be a Diamondback fan!!
