Kaci's Story

Life I am a happy mommy of two beautiful children. I had my son when I was 20 and my daughter shortly before I turned 22. I was going to Sierra College getting my units for so I could remain a pre-shool teacher, when I had my son, and my goal is to get back to it. I work full time and am a mommy full time, and love every minute of it. I never imagined myself having two kids at 24, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. They have really opened up my eyes and I treasure everyday with them. I've lived in Fair Oaks/Orangevale area for quite some time, and love it out here. My biggest goal right now is to have my children happy and healthy, and so far I'm succeeding. I look forward to watching them grow up to be wonderful adults! My next goal is to go back to school, to become what? I haven't the slightest clue! I figured I would know by now. The longer I work in the mental health department, the more it strikes my curiosity. I can't wait to get back to school some day, but I will wait till these babies of mine are a tad older to worry...Expand for more
about it! Right now I am trying to buy my first house, well, a town house anyway! It's a long, drawn out process, but I am so excited to have a home of my own soon! Workplace I've been working for CHW MEdical Foundation for about 3 years, and love my job. I worked in the Diagnostic Imaging Department for awhile and decided to move on. I got a higher position working in the Mental Health Department at a branch of the Juvenile Hall. It is there that I discovered I'd like this field. The people I work with are therapist, LCSW's, MFT's, and what they do for these children in need is so amazing. Now, I can't see myself going to school as long as they have, but if I find that this may be what I want to do, I will dedicate myself to it! Just to see the kids who are so hungry for help, and the help that they receive from the people I work with, would be worth everything! I'm on my way to getting to that goal, just need a little shove! I'd like to remain working for my company for some time, it's a great orginization to work for.
