Kalin's Story
Life
I have two great kids (9 1/2 year old boy and 8 year old girl), two dogs (a golden and a yellow lab), two cats and a hamster I would so be willing to set free (just the hamster, I'm keeping the rest)! I got married in 1996 and am now divorced. I don't recommend that to anyone but what can you do?
I'm living in Amherst with my boyfriend who also has two kids although they only live with us sometimes. We bought a house near the lake and love it. We have a lot of fun and a lot of great friends.
School
Who was my biggest crush? I think everyone pretty much knows that answer. Can you say "stalker?" What a nightmare. Sorry about that!
I was never inspired by any of my highschool teachers. I did really like Mr. Goldstein. His class was fun and he was great.
I would not do it the same if I could do it over again but it's kind of late for that. I could be really mean to people! Some of my so-called "friends...Expand for more
" were really mean to me too. I am definitely not like that AT ALL anymore. It's amazing what getting out of high school can do for you. Here's another thing that has changed about me; I am a GREAT secret keeper:-) Really! Sorry to everyone I wasn't so nice to and everyone whose secret I wasn't so good at keeping. But to everyone who was my friend- I probably remember every fun time we ever had..and there were tons!
College
I gratuated with a bachelor's degree in from Rivier College in 1997. I majored in Sociology with a double minor in psychology and philosophy with a focus on Women's Studies. What a mouthful for something I've never used but still have student loans to pay off for:-)
Workplace
I've been a preschool teacher for the past 5 years. It's the best job ever! My "really busy day" consists of having a lot of construction paper to cut! The kids are great, it's a lot of fun and you get the summers off:-)
