Kandi's Story
Life
Since high school, I attended Southwest Texas State Univ., UTEP, and graduated with a BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington & a Masters in Physical Therapy from UTEP. During college, I had the opportunity to represent El Paso as Miss El Paso, and the nation as Miss Teen of the Nation. With these titles, I was able to take some time after college and represent the United States in Europe as Miss Tourism USA. d at an investment company selling life insurance and mutual funds. In the fall of 2001, I returned to El Paso to take over the position as the marketing director for the center of diabetes and nutrition management, where my interest in physical therapy began. I was engaged to Jeff Pester on May 6, 2006 & moved to Santa Fe, NM. Jeff and I are married and now have a little girl named Natalie, born on March 22, 2011. I am still working in physical therapy, now in the home healthcare setting.
