Kandace's Story
In high school I guess I was in some aspects the class clown and in other aspects a loner. I tried to be nice to most people, but we all know I had my enemies. I hope everyone remembers me though as being nice and funny. I always wanted to be a music teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were probably right, but we'll never know. I blow off steam by telling whoever it is that I'm mad at exactly how I feel. The wildest thing I ever did in school was hang out with Tiffany. I I'm going ot work somewhere, I need to have sunflower seeds, Dr. Pepper and my cell phone to be able to deal with the day-to-day. (By the way, I'm following the story wizard, that's why I'm jumping from subject to subject.) Do I have a hero? My hero was a woman named Neta Booth, she was a saint. She was sweet, caring and thoughtful, never had a negative thing to say and although she had a disease that paralyzed her from the neck down and slowly killed her by paralyzing her organs she never got down. Our troops are also my heroes, God Bless them all. I lived in Sacoxie til 1997, then moved to Omaha with Eric Gibson and we got married, moved back to Sarcoxie, then we moved to Bella Vista, Ark with his parents, then to Rogers, Ark, then to Clinton, Miss., then back to Bella Vista, then we got divorced (thank goodness) and I moved back to Sarcoxie where I still am. The one person from my past I'd most like to see again is, well, there are several people, if you'd like to see me again, let's see each other, I'm game! Share my obsessions? Tony Gonzalez! I just saw him on sports news, man he's hot. I love the Chiefs other than that I don't really have any obsessions. Well, I've been kind of obsessed lately with finding old friends and classmates I guess. Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect, you can say that again. I never thought I'd be single at 31 (almost 32) with 5 children and working at an explosives plant. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a whole new house. My dream home would be a log cabin in the woods with a private lake. I've learned from my kids to appreciate small things more and cherish every day and keep having fun, don't grow up! The teacher I would love to see again would be Mrs. Smith, and I would a...Expand for more
lso love to see Mrs. McCracken and Mrs. Norwood and Mr. Norton. If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% to different charities, including research for autism (my 5 year has Asperger's), and then I would give 5% to my parents, split 35% between my children and then invest 10% for myself and never have to work in a factory again. Never lived in a dorm, never even went to college, big mistake. To truly be happy I would be living with the love of my life and have all my kids with me and just enjoying being with those I love and I would have my own restuarant. My current age is 31. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring and old. I was so completely WRONG! I'm cool!!! I would love to go to school and either go into psychology or consevation. What happened to my first crush? He grew up to be very successful and is a great guy. My best friend would tell you I'm boring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as crazy. Yes I still pretty much dress like I did in high school, as far as conservative and not flashy or very fashionable, just t-shirts and work out pants or jeans. The weirdest job I ever had is probably my job , making explosives. I share my home with only 1 of my children full time, which I find lonely sometimes. No trophies on my mantel. I get one do-over, I would go back to the day Bruce died and not let go of him that morning when he stopped to see me. In 10 years, I hope to be married and not working at my present place of employment. I'm going to get there by, heck I don't know, just being me. I guess my oldest friend is Tiffany and we met by actually not liking each other. Our weirdness brought us together though and even though now we are completely different I love her to death. I really don't think anything about me would surprise anyone at our high school reunion except maybe that I work at an explosives factory. My first job was at Sonic, where I got paid $1.75 an hour plus tips to carhop. What I remember most about it was getting hit on by dirty old men. A childhood memory I'll never forget is playing on the playground at Emerson Elementary with Christopher McMillen and Danny Dunkan, can't really remember how to spell their names. Well, that's all they have for me on the Story Wizard. Think it says it all anyway.
