Kapi's Story
Life
I went to roosevelt high for the first 2 years of high school and ended up dropping out because I had a son. And I transfered to leilehua and moved across the island to wahiawa.
Now it is 2005 I do not have custody of my son or any rights to speak of, he lives with his father's mother and is very well taken care of.
I ended up dropping out of leilehua high also but got my ged shortly after.
When my grandmother passed away my grandfather and I moved back to honolulu.
About a year later I met the sweetest kindest man who 2 months later asked me to marry him.
We were married in december of 02 and have been happily married ever since. He is in the U.s. army so we left hawaii in the summer of 03 to head to the new duty station. Which is Ft. drum in new york and we have been statio...Expand for more
ned here since october of 03, My husband was deployed to Iraq shortly after we arrived here. But i was strong and made my own way around this place for a year.
And here we are 1 year and a few months later, He is home safe now back with me and our 2 kitties.
It is nothing like back home here so it definitely took some adjusting.
But all in all I am very happy with my life, I never expected to be where I am today, I ecspecially did not expect to be married, Because I loved my freedom. But marrige is deffinitely not what I thought it would be it's "SO MUCH BETTER!" So I am and definitely very happy.
In about 2 years my husband will be out and done with the military and we plan to move back home to hawaii to live for a little while, then to delaware(where jesse is from) to grow old :)
