ented "my son ate my homework", which actually did happen once or twice. I'll never forget going into my backpack to grab a pencil and having my daughter's pacifier come flying out instead. Or a matchbox car keeping my notebooks company. I've gone to school and halfway through the day realized that there was drool dried onto my shirt. . .very embarrassing. Or making sure I check my shoes before I put them on so I don't squish any leftover snack from the night before that they were saving for later. Kids really do do the darnedest things. I look back every now and then and sometimes regret that I didn't spend more time with the kids but it was all worth it in the long run. The only piece of advice I can give is that if you get the chance to go to college, do it. It is the best choice both for yourself, and for your family.
