Karan's Story
Born in San Francisco, I moved to Fresno when I was very young, attended Fresno schools and graduated from Fresno State College with a B.A. in Theatre in 1968.
I taught school for 30 years, was twice a Mentor Teacher, was selected as Teacher of the Year for my district, and spent a few years as principal of a small one-room school house.
I now work for Therapy Dogs, International, as an evaluator, and make therapy dog visits with my fabulous golden doodle, Nick.
I also have been performing and directing with Good Company Players since its beginning.
I am happily retired and enjoy living in a place with a great local theatre.
