Karen's Story
After graduating from college with a BA in interior design, I moved to Oceanside CA. to live with my boyfriend (now husband) - he's also in a wheelchair and was working as an engineer. About a year later we got engaged. We married in June of 2006 and had a reception a month later in Morro Bay.

se in Oceanside - goodbye traffic and hello wonderful central coast! It's great to be back in my home town. My mom lives down the street from us in the house I grew up in. It's kind of bizarre ... but quite nice.
Right now we're working on starting a family. It's being trying at times and quite an emotional roller coaster, but we're hopeful to be parents soon.
