Karen's Story
After high school I graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in journalism. I married my husband, Juan Sexton, in 1974. We have three sons. on. Our youngest graduated from Kansas University majoring in biology. He is working on his Masters degree at Colorado State U. In 1990 I got my masters degree in social work. I have done counseling in private practice and at a mental health center. I have also worked as a medical social worker at Stormont Vail hospital.
