1. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 9 years old and was baptized at Westside Baptist Church in Cincinnati. 2. Things I wanted to be when I grew up...Wife, Mother, have a ministry in the church, Worship Leader, Classical Pianist, Missionary, Secretary like my mom :o) 3. In the late 70's early 80's my best friend Peachy and I would attend the Jesus House on Coogan Drive in Cincinnati every Saturday night and followed Rich Mullins and Zion around to concerts. Since then, addicted to Christian music - favorites were Rich and Keith Green :o) 4. In early 80's met who I thought was the man of my dreams and would spend the rest of my life with in ministry (he broke my heart and married someone else). I agree with what Rich Mullins said about the love he lost and his broken heart. For a couple of years had a wonderful youth ministry at New Burlington Church of Christ. 5. Still remained close to the Lord over the next 20+ years but have somewhat wandered around trying to find my way back into ministry and overcome my broken heart. Unfortunately, used food to help medicate my depression over those years and gained huge amount :o( Helped lead worship at various churches along the way. Then had gastric bypass which worked for awhile but I never dealt with the real root (pain) of the problem and so the weight has krept b...Expand for more
