Karen's Story
Hello and how are you all doing these days.
I pray you are all well! I ran track/field throughout school and I had great friends, Debbie (Fry) Reedy, Thersa (Harvey) Blake, Teresa Dalton, Ruth White, Ronald Burton (who I prayed would be alright after he told us he was going in the service), also others! I sang in the school choir and no secrets I share my Faith in God occasionally. My oldest brother Keith, Kimberly class of '86, Kevin (football) class of '87 and I believe Kirk 'Captin' (football) graduated '89. n to meet while in Detroit, MI visiting with relatives. He came calling in 1986, first I keep him at a distance; 2 years later he won me over, been married now 20 years. I'm yet living in the 'D' and my husband (Walter) is a Pastor and we have a son (Scott). Some trails we've faced that all the school in the world could not have prepared us for. However, all your family and the friends we've made along the way have help to shape who we are and how one handles what we've had to go through and maybe even dealing with today. The experiences were great!!! I now travel as a conference, seminar and workshop speaker in ministry and it is exciting and fulfilling for me. Life is good!
