Life
Received B.S. & M.Ed. in Business Ed. from Auburn University. Was a secretary at AU and Jan's Clothing in Opelika for a while. Taught a year each for a CETA program in Lanett, Alabama, and at Loachapoka High School, Loachapoka, Alabama. Taught business administrative technology at West Georgia Technical College for over 26 years, 21 years at the LaGrange campus and 5 years at the Newnan campus. Oldest son has Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Auburn and currently lives in Virginia with his wife and 4-year old son; middle son has B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech & works for Siemens Germany in Nuremberg; and youngest son has B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and works for Acuity Brands in Atlanta, Georgia.
