Life I left Georgia in 1988 for Tulsa, OK. I received my BSN there from Langston University at the UCAT campus and worked at St John Medical Center in the Neonatal ICU for 2 1/2 years. In May 1995 I joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX where I worked in the Neonatal ICU at Wilford Hall Medical Center. In September 1999, I recieved orders to Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. I worked in the Neonatal ICU at the Naval Hospital there. In Septmeber 2003, we moved back to San Antonio, where I am again stationed at Lackland AFB and where I work at the Neonatal ICU as the Nurse Manager and the Coordinator of the pediatric heart-lung by-pass (ECMO) program. I pinned on Major, 5 July this year. I've made it this far, so will probably stay in. I met my husband Dennis Larry in 1995, here in San Antonio, and we married in 1996. We are now divorced as of April 2006. I have three children- Martel Antionne Jackson, now 21 years old. He attends Texas State University in San Marcos, TX (about an hour from SA).
