Hello Classmates! Since I am Chairing the Fiftieth Reunion I felt I should write something. To be honest, it is quite a surprise to find myself in that role, and my friends and family are amused too ;-). It all started when I heard about my husband's Reunion (which I just attended) last spring. I wondered what our class had planned and discovered....NOTHING. That concerned me as I knew it takes a while to get these events together. The only way I could get something started HERE, on Classmates, was to declare myself "Organizer", so I did. Lucky for me Lorna Lund Collins came on board, as she is the prodigious "Wind Beneath My WIngs." More later...Reunion calls and emails to do, haha. July 15th, 2014 We are now less than two months away and getting very excited. We have located all but 19 of our '64 Classmates. I have phoned all of those who said they were coming but have not yet paid and almost finished calling the "Maybes". We so choose this event to be as inclusive as possible and a big,positive and warm BANG upon whatever other memories we hold in our AHS memory banks. We don't believe this will be anohter "run-of-the-mill" Reunion...we have tried to make it special in many ways. Yet, wtihout YOU there, it won't be special enough!
