Karen's Story
High school definitely wasn't my greatest moment. I was the proverbial "late bloomer." But I sure had so many great experiences afterward. Spent 3 wonderful, exciting and sometimes frightening years in Panama during Noriega's regime. Explored Costa Rica and Guatamala during those years. rlington, I am too busy with work at present, but love where I live and what I do. DC is such a great city. My two English Springer Spaniels are my best buddies and we enjoy our time at the beach house we have close to Wilmington, NC. I have been back to Naperville a few times and it always brings back so many great memories, even if I don't recognize anything when I get too far out of the downtown area. The greatest thing is that the farm I grew up on, which was located at the corner of Plainfield Road and 75th Street, is now a spectacular forest preserve and our windmill is on display at Naper Settlement. So, if high school wasn't so exciting for me, life afterwards sure has been.
