Karen's Story
Life
In school you knew me as Karen Mann, it is now Blissitte. I was married in 1987 to Tommy. He was firefighter in Mineral Wells at the time we married but has since retired and is now working for Palo Pinto Country Sheriffs Dept. I am the mother of twin girls born in October of 1998. I am very active in the music department at First Baptist Church, as Childrens Choir Coordinator and director of our 4-6 grade choir, play in the orchestra and handbell choir and sing in the adult choir.

I attended Weatherford College from 1984-1987 and in 1993 I attended Tarleton State and received my Bachelor degree in Music Education in 1996.
Workplace
I am a teacher at Palo Pinto, Texas at the only elementary school there. We have approximately 85 students in the PRE-K - 6th Grade. Because the school is so small I wear many different hats. I teach music, computers and am the librarian. I have worked there for 12 years. I received the Jack Harvey Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2004.
