Karen's Story
Life
You all knew me as Karen Michel. But that changed in 1984 when I married and had 15 years with my husband Gene. Divorced in 1999 and continue to raise our 2 kids Amber 20 and Ray 17. I remarried in 2001 and gained 3 step children and 4 grand children and in 2002 my daughter gave me a beautiful grand son. I am presently living in Gorgia and working for the Department of the Navy. After graduation I joined the Navy and that was very memorable I got to visit places that most people only dream of such as France, Germany, Portugal and Britain.

s that I was,I was given the chance to live in Scotland I was there for 3 years. but nothing compares to the good ole US of A.
Military
I started my military career in 1982. My first duty was on the L. Y. Spear I was on board till May of 84. Then was stationed on the Canopus in DC Div from 85 till 87 did a short tour at Port Ops in Kings Bay till 88 then was on the Simon Lake till 90 where I worked in the Repair Dept. Then was stationed back on the Canopus till I got out in 92. I now work for the Navel Hospital Jacksonville at the Branch Clinic in Kings Bay.
