Life
I moved to York ,Penn a yr after college graduation by chance, not expecting to stay. After 3 yrs of teaching, waitressing and every fall/ spring going off to Europe, hitchhiking out West sort of thing i decided to accept i'd found a new home. Helped found a Rape & Victim Assisantce Center, spent yrs working w/ them on a volunteer basis..took a job w/ my families business traveling w/ the knowledge i wouldn't move back to jersey or let it interfere w/ my volunteer work..bottom line? i lived & played hard..never married tho i'm not going to my grave unasked, spoil my nieces terribly. ancer. The 2 yrs i spent w/ her taught me life lessons about grace, composure, fight, acceptance, dignity,and most importantly, love in a light i had not believed possible. It also gave me zero tolerance for bullshit!! When i was myself diagnosed w/ MS shortly after her death( i'd been sick during her illness & as usual had been misdiagnosed) i was better prepared to deal w/ the stuggle. For those of you who rememeber Frank Kelly, he has been a godsend to me, as always, but especially when i have to deal w/ the problems the disease presents. Sister Whoever would be appalled by my spelling but cognitive stuff happens so..and now i'm tired, more another time..Hope you are all well
