Karen's Story
Life
"Bear" and I will be married 35 years, as of this May (2016). We have 3 terrific sons: Kade Ryan (31), Kord Ross (28), & Krey Reed (25); none married, yet; no grandkids. Before returning to college, I worked 7 years as a surgical assistant for an oral surgeon. I graduated from Texas A&M University, in 1986, with a degree in education. am looking forward to retirement soon, to do some traveling with my husband and play golf with my family.
College
The first time around, I'd like to forget. I never went to class, made some bad choices, and blew a scholarship. The next time around, 7 yrs. later and after getting married, I made the Dean's List. Maturity plays a big role in graduating from college! Should've graduated in '78, but didn't until '86. Glad I finally made it!
