Karen's Story
First, I go by the name Rosie Olson now. Haven't been called Karen since 1979. Not sure anyone from the class of 1971 will remember me. I lived in a foster home out in the country. I don't remember many people...just a few faces here and there. Maybe if people who remember me helped jog my memory I might remember better. I entered Watertown High School in the fall of 1969, so I didn't go there all 4 years. Those years were troubling times for me. My foster parents weren't that good to me. classes and ride the bus home. I was very lonely. I remember that. They didn't understand what I was going through. No blame, just fact. Not hashing old memories or crying over it. Lord, it's been 40 years. It just is, what it is, and was.
I live in Wisconsin...have most of my life. I did live for short times in CT, CA and TN. But I ended up back here.
I think because of the trauma I was going through, I don't remember much of my High School years. It would be nice to try to re-connect. If anyone remembers me...give me a shout. Thank You.
