Karen's Story
Life
After graduation I went into the U.S. Army. I served as a Military Police Specialist until March 1994. My Husband, Sean, of almost 10 years and I have 4 children together. Among our mix of children we have 9 year old triplets and a 6 1/2 year old. I served over 13 years in law enforcement up until I was about 4 months pregnant with our trio. It was hard giving up a career I loved so much and had dedicated so much time and heart in to every day I worked.
My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years and he has been THE love of my life (Sean). He is in the U.S. Navy and we are currently in Virginia. We've been together for more than about 10 1/2 years. I couldn't ima...Expand for more

Life has brought many happy and sad moments but I've come to realize that's what it's all about. I am a strong woman today for the struggles I've had to overcome. I have a wonderful family who have helped me along the way unconditionally. I feel truly blessed to have the best mother (may she rest in peace Aug 3, 47 - Mar 20, 09) and father in the world. No matter what life has thrown at us over the years, they've shown me what true and unconditional love is all about. I am so proud of being the daughter of not only 2 outstanding parents, but personal heroes and guidances of inspiration. I hope to pass on to my children what my parent's have instilled in me.
