Life After graduating from McCluer, I went to work in the Personnel Department at (then) McDonnell Douglas. I became a bride one year later. One year after that, in the month of June, my husband and I celebrated our 1st anniversary, he received his draft notice (for Viet Nam, of course; he was there for 13 months), and I discovered I was expecting our first child (a boy). I just love the month of June ;-> ! As the years passed, we added two more sons to our first, moved to Nebraska in 1980. I went back to college (at UNO) and graduated from Nebraska Western (Phi Beta Kappa). We, then moved even further out West, here to Arizona, in 1985. Lived here until 1992, when we had an opportunity to move back to Missouri (to the St. Charles area) and lived there until 1996, when we moved back here to Arizona. We wanted to be closer to our children and our first grandchild (a boy, named Brandon).We have since, been blessed with a second grandchild (the first girl, Kaitlyn..aka/Katy) born in my family in 45 years), so it was quite a celebration! During those past 12 years or so, I wrote and published my first book (The Complete and Up To Date Fat Book), which was followed by 3 revisions (a fourth one to be started this fall); a published cookbook, as well as a so-far unpublished children's book (written for my granddaughter). Keep your fingers crossed for me (smile) Separated in '98 and divorced in '99, I still make my home in Chandler, Arizona.
