Karen's Story
Life
I live in the country with mom and dad after I adopted a little girl from overseas as a single mom. I have been divorced for 4 years now. I am currently studying ...yes...you guessed it, journalism/communication, FINALLY! It has been a rough six years but mom, dad, and I swear it will be a better year.
For all the people who knew my brother, Paul, he passed away two years ago on January 8 of kidney failure. He is buried in Mt Orab cemetary with my daughter, Alyssa that passed on in 1999. Life is tough, but there is no other way than up!
School
Oh no....do I have to be honest here? My biggest crush from elementary school through high school was Rob Strickland; until ...Expand for more
1985 came, and Rich Jetter entered the room. The boy could stop your heart!
My most inspired teacher....it is a shame...i can remember middle school but not really high school. My most inspired teacher was my social studies teacher Mr Stiverson and he passed on the year that I had him. My biggest mentor was Jan Dumford. Would I do high school all over again> Oh yeah! but only if Rich would do it too...lol
Workplace
I went back to the high school library scene and I love it. The stress is not there and I am still pretty good at it. I can't believe things have changed. I'm the oldest student of the bunch, but I like it. They all say that I don't nearly look my age....lol
