Karen's Story
Life
As you can see from the photo, I had fun being a teenager again with our band Roadkill. My buddies on drums, guitar and bass are all co-workers (teachers) and we had a blast. We've been asked to do another gig. We'll see if we can fit it in. :) I'm living in Arizona, a long way from the Island. I miss it. I've done a number of different things in my life. I've been a student, lawyer, teacher, and now a student again doing a PhD in cognition & biliteracy....Expand for more
One daughter is now 18 a F/T student at the same university. That's fun.With my 3rd husband, we have "his, mine, and ours" to a total of 6. All girls. One is going full time to Temple U. Another lives in our neighborhood and has 2 beautiful daughters, another is a college student and has 2 beautiful girls and great hubby in Texas, and the other is a HS student in TN. The photo that says "then" is really of my youngest daughter and granddaughter-a great pair!
