Karen's Story
Okay folks, the abridged version of my life so far goes as follows:
(1) graduate from South Fayette (1983)
(2) go to Penn State, major in biology, meet a great guy, graduate in 1987.
(3) go to vet school at the University of Minnesota (leave great guy at Penn State to finish school and get a job). Meet lots of great people in Minnesota, freeze my ass off, watch the Pens beat the Northstars for the Stanley Cup in a bar full of Northstars fans, get out of Minnesota as fast as I could after graduating in June of 1991.
(4) Get married June 29, 1991 at St. Agatha in Bridgeville to the great guy (Steve) from Penn State who has been working in Hartf...Expand for more
ord, CT while I was in MN. Move to Hartford July 1, 1991 to finally live in the same state with my significant other. Work as veterinarian.
(5) 1991-2005. Work as veterinarian. Move to Hartford CT, Colchester CT, Princeton NJ, and Bethlehem PA to follow husbands career in insurance. Daughters (Brianna and Sarah) born in Bethlehem in 1999 and 2002.
(6)Husband got job in Pittsburgh, moved back to South Fayette in 2005. My grandparents and my father passed away in 2006 and 2007.
(7) Daughters are finishing 4th and 1st grades at SF, play softball, and are great kids. My mom lives about a mile away from me. Now trying to find everyone again.
