Karen's Story
I feel like I've been in college forever. I went back in 1999 and graduated in 2002 with my LPN. That wasn't enough and I went back in 2006 and graduated in 2007 with my RN. I've been working on a surgical floor since 2002 and have started training in the recovery room/OR. I totally LOVE what I do.
I have three beautiful daughters. The oldest will be a junior this fall at MSU (GO Bobcats) and the younger two are in high school. Things get crazy but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Max and I will be celebrating 23 years in March (and who said it wouldn't last). He is vice president of Realtor.com and travel...Expand for more
s weekly around the country. It's never easy to have him gone but we do get nice perks, i.e. frequent flyer miles. We took the girls to Amsterdam, Scotland, Ireland, and Paris this summer and had an awesome time!
We have lived in Helena since 1993 after living in Denver, Las Vegas and Okinawa, Japan. We mainly came "home" to raise our girls and have started to think about where we'll relocate to once they are thru college. Frankly, somewhere with a beach and warm weather is calling our names.
Life is good, I have no complaints. We are happy and healthy with a great family and friends. What more could we want?
