Karen's Story
Life
Working on a second divorce after nearly 26 years, proof that there are no fairy tales except in the minds of idealistic youngsters. All things considered I can't complain, it's been an interesting and even joyful life so far. My kids are awesome and a huge source of pride and my grandchildren are perfect, of course.
Moved to Florida last year to be with mom whose health has declined a bit. It's a good life, little stress, just a couple of crazy ladies (one more than the other) laughing, gardening and absolutely celebrating life. This is the childhood I always wanted so I thank my Lord everyday for it....Expand for more
There is so much more but then why bother, it's enough to know that I have worked hard, tried to be the best person I could and cherished every blessing in my life..
College
Actually I went to college in both Tampa,FL and Lansing, MI. I was at Tampa College for two yrs until '81 then moved back to Mi in '82. In order to advance at the MI St. Chamber of Commerce I went to LCC to recieve a Bus. Deg. As a divorced mother of three it was alot of tough work putting in late nights and missing my kids. Not exactly the romantic or playful experience we grow up dreaming of but in the long run well worth the effort.
