Life I Married Bob three weeks after graduation on July 11,1981. 30 years later, still in love and going strong. I feel incredibly blessed to have found the right man at 17 years old. No coincidence that two Texans met in California. Further convincing me now that everything happens for a reason. We have two boys 29 and 25. Our youngest is a firefighter/EMT living and working here in TX. Our oldest graduated in 2011 from Hallmark Institute of Aeronautics.. He is now paying his own way with a good job at Bell Helicopter. We also have 2 beautiful grandchildren we have adopted. She is 8, he is 7. We have had them since before the baby was a year old. It's like starting all over but as they say "that which does not kill us makes us stronger" We have lived all over the place, thank you US NAVY. The only place we were stationed I would have to be dragged under protest to return to would be Hawaii. It is very difficult to truly grasp the hurt of discrimination until you have been on the recieving end.
