Kari's Story

Life As of today, 4/5/07: Living in Oregon, at least for another couple of years. I'm working on PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at Oregon State University. I've been married for 6 years to Michael Pilolla. We have two dogs (Jindos) and a daughter on the way. In all, I have lived in Fresno, San Diego, Santa Monica, Redwood City, San Carlos, and now, Albany (OR). Career wise: After getting MS in Ex Phys and an MS in Nutrition, I worked at St John's Health Center in Santa Monica as the Sports Medicine Coordinator & lead Exercise Physiologist, then moved to northern CA and worked at Stanford University conducting research in exercise and nutrition. n in Oregon for almost 2 years, enjoying the fresh air and slower pace of life...well, kind of... School, work, and home life keep me very busy, but I'd get bored otherwise. I'm a pretty easy-going person (but don't tolerate much crap any more). I'm always doing something - I can't sit still...a huge complaint of my husband's! I don't go home to Tulare much -- maybe once a year. My family is all still there, and some of you may run into them from time to time. I also don't get to see many friends from school. I do see Jennifer (Smith) Mantei and her family on occasion. That's about all...just enjoying life each day I can. Hope you all are well! kari
