Kari's Story
Life
After working 6 years in surgery, 3 of which were spent in Hawaii, I came back to the Pacific Northwest. I married an avid outdoorsman, and we now have 3 little girls and 1 son. Everyday is an adventure in our home!
2005 Update: We now have another son. The kids range in age from 3-12. I couldn't have asked for better kids. What a blessing! We live in Montana, in a beautiful little ski resort town. The kids all
snowboard or ski. We also enjoy snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. As soon as the lake thaws, the kids will be in it and they won't want to get out til the next snowfall. I am a stay-at-home Mom. It keeps me plenty busy...just
keeping up with all the laundry is quite a feat. For those of you who have never visited Glacier National Park, you really should put it on your list of places to see. Everytime I drive up Going-to-the-Sun Road, I can see without a doubt,
that there is a God, and He is Great and He is Mighty. The view from up there is glorious! I love taking visitors up there, just to see their reaction. It's only a days drive from Seattle. My most adrenaline filled moment in Montana: One night
the dogs were going nuts, outside. So I got up, went into the dining room and swept back the blinds on the slidi...Expand for more
ng glass door. There, just inches away on the otherside of the glass was a big old bear looking just as surprised, back at me. What
I am most thankful for: My friends and family. Remember Gail Davis? She's the best friend a gal could ever hope to have. She's like my kids' "other mother". We don't have a big house or piles of money, but we've been SO blessed, none the less.
I'm big into making memories for the kids, so we have loads of fun! So there's my life in a nutshell, as of now. I really don't remember a whole lot of people from High School, as I never really cared much for it. I couldn't wait to get out of
there and get on with life. At the time, I was more involved with horses and spending my summers working on a farm in South Dakota. Harvesting wheat and tending cattle. I do have great memories from Honeydew Elementary though. Mostly, playing ball with Frank Russell, Brian Brunette, Kirk Thompson, Matt Cone and Gary Sherrell. And then playing with the neighborhood kids...the Del Gianni's, Nichol's,and Denny's. Pat Del Gianni being like my second Mom. Pat and my Mom have both been taken up to Heaven, now. I really had a charmed childhood!
Well, I better skadaddle, I have more laundry to do.HA Take care and God bless you! Kari :)
