Kari's Story
Life
After growing up in Longview,I swore I would NEVER live in such a little place when I finally became an adult. Fast forward a bazillion years and here I am, living in an even smaller town and loving it...Being an adult makes you appreciate what you had and how easy you had it when you were young...I miss that. But, I do love my life with my children. Have four terrific kids that have made my life all I could ever ask for.
Ok, I figured it was time to update 'my story'. My oldest son Drew moved back home (Is that even allowed? I don't think so...isn't there some rule against this in mommy land?) It's too bad because he was enjoying school up in Canada, but just could not afford to...Expand for more
live there. Everything is so expensive and they do not allow foreign students to work. So, once again he is home. Don't know for how long...does anybody want to give a 20 year old boy a job? He is a hard worker, has long hair, goatee and sideburns now and drives a VW hippy van. Peace, love and rock and roll, dude. <g>
Kelsie, Lauren and Evan are all doing fine. Kelsie is a senior this year, Lauren is in 9th grade (two kids in high school, again) and Evan is in 3rd grade.
As for me, I am in the process of getting 'un'married. This will be a big change after 19 years but a very much wanted one. I am looking forward to this next step in my life...can't wait to see what happens!
