Karin's Story
Life
Not much has happened since I last updated this thing. I am now an avid runner. (Just remember slow and steady wins the race, because I'm rather pokey...) I ran in my first race in Feb., which was 8 miles. I am training for a half marathon and the Honolulu Marathon, which is later in the year. I'd like to get into cycling, but I just don't have enough time...
My husband is still a nuclear engineered electrician in the Navy and we still live in Hawaii. He got back from a 6 month deployment in November, and will deploy again soon. Later this year, we will be moving to the New Hampshire/Maine area, which scares me...going from tropical wather to snow several months out of the year should be a rude awakening.

sically, I am the liasion between the families of the sub's crew members and the command leadership, such as the Captain, XO, etc.
My son is in the 1st grade at a private school and now takes tumbling and jazz. My daughter is is taking ballet and tap from a few different dance studios in town. I still attend school full-time, majoring in Psychology. I should be done by next year! :o) Then, onto a Master's program. :(
I look forward to visiting good ol' Vidor later in the year. I haven't been back for a few years. However, if you're ever in Hawaii, look me up!
School
I recently transferred from Hawaii Pacific University to Chaminade University, and I'm still a Psychology major. I will be finished next spring. Yea!
Workplace
I currently work at the fitness center on Pearl Harbor as an aerobics instructor and a personal trainer.
