Karin's Story
Life
After graduating from BHSN, I attended Stanford University and received my BA in English in 1999. I then moved to Los Angeles and did the dot-com thing, but after too many long nights at work and getting laid off twice as the industry collapsed, I decided it wasn't for me. I'm now pursuing my Masters in Psychology at Antioch University and planning to start a nonprofit organization in a few years to help homeless animals, ...Expand for more
at-risk teens, and people with disabilities. I also run a business designing liberal political t-shirts and buttons.
I currently live in Los Angeles with my girlfriend Kristi, my service dogs Kyla and Arthur, and two cats, Morgaine and Clio. I spend my free time with friends, writing, and working on my women's discussion website, She-Net.com.
