Karina's Story
I love to travel and have been more places than I ever imagined I would be able to go. Moving around makes it hard to keep in touch with friends, but the internet is wonderful for finding old friends. I love taking and looking at pictures and I love seeing how much we've all changed and stayed the same after all these years.
Since high school, I spent 14 years in the Army Reserves. I did one deployment and spent a year in Kuwait. My husband is an Active Duty soldier and will retire soon. We have two great kids, our daughter is almost 13 and our son is 9. We keep ourselves busy with sports. Soccer and baseball.
I worked in Germany as a Special Educational Aide and miss my job like crazy. School gets out early (May) here so there weren't any openings, hopefully next school year.

when we both volunteered for an active duty tour in California... rough life! It was tons of fun. We've been married 13 years (14 in July). After getting married, we moved to Fort Drum, NY. I loved all the snow but wouldn't want to stay there forever. After that we spent 5 years at Fort Lewis... WOOHOO! It was great being so close to home. Then it was off to Germany and we LOVED being there. Skiing in Austria, camping in Denmark, road trips to Prague, quick flights to London... doesn't get any better than that!
Now we're at Fort Knox, Kentucky not knowing how long we'll be here or where we'll go next. We all want to go back to Europe.
I have gone back to school and am loving it so far. Right now I'm working on an Associate's Degree, baby steps.
I work part time as a Special Education Ed and still love it.
