Karren's Story
Life
It doesnÂt seem like 50 years ago I graduated from high school. The year was 1955 and the ceremony was held in Munich, Germany, My school was Munich American High School. My classmates were 47 Âmilitary brats from just about every state in the US. Being a Âbrat gave me the great opportunity to travel but was hard on developing long term friendships.
My father made a career of the army and along with my mother, two brothers and a sister we lived in Utah, California, Washington and Germany. IÂve lost count on how many grade schools I attended but have many fond memories of the three high schools  Santa Maria HS (freshman yr.) in Santa Maria, California, Clover Park HS (junior and senior yr.) in Tacoma, Washington and graduation at Munich American HS.

1956 while attending Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, California. Married in 1957 we have a son (engaged), a daughter (married) and one granddaughter. I worked for Hewlett Packard (now Agilent) 25 years as a Technical Illustrator - a dream job!
Now weÂre both retired we enjoy traveling. Our home is in the beautiful northern California wine country. Marv plays golf whenever he can and I continue to use my love of art to paint in oil, watercolor and pastel. I work as a freelance Graphic Designer, artist and fabric designer.
Through classmates I was able to re-connect with many Âold friends. My senior year was split in half  I spent my junior and half of my senior year at Clover Park HS and the last half of senior year in Germany. I plan on attending both 50th reunions in 2005.
