Sealja Kate's Story

Life Haha - I found an old pic :) Just to update - this year I had a baby (our first) September 24th! I wasn't able to work for 3 months before he was born, so I went back to work 2 months after he was born and we're doing OK with that. My hubby watches him when I'm at work, we don't want to have strangers care for him at this point, it's a total trust issue. We also had to reduce the amount of doggies we have, one went to live with my mom in Omak because he was getting in fights with one of the others... it was both of their fault but he does the best at my mom's. I hate getting rid of him :(. Then the rest of this is from earlier :) I'm living in Seattle with my husband Matthew and our three dogs - who came with me from Omak. I'm a nurse (tho sometimes I daydream of doing other things, I'm just not quite sure what!) and have a pretty good job. It gets pretty exhausting at times, but is otherwi...Expand for more
se fun with a good crew. Matthew's work causes him to travel a lot, so I'm very happy the dogs keep me company, and my parents live in town so I always have them to visit. I have several friends here, I like singing Karaoke and keep thinking I'm going to pick up a real instrument again and start playing at open mic night, at a little place across a bridge from me. It's a good atmosphere, and I don't think I would get laughed off the stage, just need to practice a bit more. I have also been gardening and we have a great front flower bed, although it needs some weeding again. It's pretty nice to see things come up in the spring. We don't have any kids yet, but are planning on trying after honeymoon #2, given we don't get some intestinal parasite. That's what drugs are for... I'm hoping all my friends and acquaintances are doing pretty well, and don't mind talking to people I haven't seen in ages.
