Kate's Story
My mother and i moved to halltown in 1987 from california, i went to east elm. school and then on to miller, in 1992 we moved to gulfport mississippi where i have been since. I love it here. I have 2 boys Korey 11 and John 5. In May 08 we finally won custody of my biological father's 2 kids (he did not raise me, i dont even know him, and untill he died, i didnt even know he had more kids) but he died and their mother was one of those people that should never have kids and so i fought for 2 years to get custody of them and finally won...Expand for more
at our last court hearing May 23rd 2008. We drove 14 hours to this court hearing and were very excited to be bringing them home with us. And in one day i go from a mother of 2 to a mother of 4.There are good days and bad days but its all worth it at the end of the day. My husband is in the navy going on 12 years now. He loves his job, but hates being gone so much. Hes about to do another 6 month deployment which sucks but while hes gone im taking 6 months off work so i am looking forward to that. I think thats about it for my story.
