Kate's Story
Life
I'm happily living in Clarksville, TN, with my husband of 15 years, Chris, our three kids, Timo (10), Meg (6) and Lillie (4), Frank the Cat and our stupid dog Zora. I spend most of my time homeschooling, organizing playgroup activities and driving back and forth to church. When I have a free moment, I read, scrapbook and am learning embroidery. We also spend an inordinate amount of time doing Scouting stuff since Chris is Timo's den leader and I'm the Daisy Girl Scout troop leader. In a few years...Expand for more
, when the kids are able to stay by themselves, I'm going to complete my certification to be a labor doula and support women who want to homebirth or have drug-free natural childbirth. So far I've helped my sister have a drug-free hospital birth, caught a best friend's baby at her homebirth, had two homebirths of my own and one birth center birth.
I haven't kept up with most people from high school so I look forward to our reunion (has it really been almost 20 years?) and catching up with old friends.
