Kathe's Story

Who are I???? Graduated from UCSB and worked for Sears full time for a year - then went in the Peace Corps. Was in the Philippines for 2 years then came back to the states and the folks had moved to Atascadero from SB. Loved it here, got my real estate license as jobs were sparse - and here I have been ever since! 35 years and telling! Was married twice - neither took - and have had the...Expand for more
same buddy friend for the past 15 years - that works. Love finding folks their dream property and rescuing animals. Getting back into riding after a back re-injury 3 years ago - lifted a car off my first husband's head years ago - oops and ouch! Rescue dogs, cats, horses and a potbelly pig. Active in local trails and horse/mule groups including HEET, the Horse Emergency Evacutation Team.

My two little adoptees, mini aussies, with their summer cut!! Great to avoid those nasty little round stickers too!! They are soooo good with all the cats .. 6 here in the house, 2 at the barn and 3 at the log house .. yes
