Got married to Neil in 1988, moved to the Cariboo and bought a resort with my parents. We sold it in 1996. During that time we had two daughters Britny (1991) and Karina (1995). Neil and I stayed in the town of Horsefly. I worked for a guest ranch as ranch manager. I loved this job. I took guests out on cattle drives and as a working ranch I took care of herds of up to 200 cattle riding my horse on the range. This was what I was doing when I attended our 20 year reunion. Neil and I seperated in 2001 for 2.5 years and decided to give it another shot in 2004 and things are great now. I stopped working at the ranch due to the fact the owner wanted to sell the business. I started working for the Cariboo Fire Centre (forestry)about that time in Finance as an emergency hire (sort of an on call position). This means when there is major forest fires they call in help to keep accounts up to date. I also do finance out on the fire line, which is quite an experience.
