Life Wow where to start, I graduated from C.W.Post in May 1998 with a Bachelors Of Fine Arts degree. I am a free lance artist, I specialize in pastel Portraits, and animal portraits. Currently I teach art in both an Elementary School and an art supply store. In January 2010 I received my Master of Science degree in Art Education. Currently I am the Director/Supervisor of my own Scope Before and Afterschool programs in Commack School District where I work with our adorable kindergarten to second grade students. Hope all is well with everyone. School What my fellow classmates may not have known about me is that all through school, I was severly hearing impaired. My hearing got worse in High School and by my senior year I was legally deaf. I was extremely sensitive about it. In Feb. 1994 I had ear drum surgery and began to hear things I had never before heard in my life. Sounds most people take for granted. I was also able to finally hear my classmates who were not facing me answer and ask questions in the classroom. So for those of you who were speaking to me while my eyes were not looking near your area, please don't think I was purposely not responding.
