Katherine's Story
I was only one of the four females in the class of 1960. I was Kathie Scheer back then. Went on to Lincoln High. Then it was on to Concordia, Portland, Oregon and from there to Concordia, Seward. I married a farmer here in Nebraska, in 1967. Have been here ever since. Taught elementary school music in Exeter, NE for one year. Had 3 children and learned to drive a car, tractor, and trucks. ultant and instructor for agriculture women in commodity marketing. We are semi-retired now and purchased a fifth wheel RV last year. Hope to do some traveling before health or old age problems arrive. My husband, Don just had his 50th class reunion. I just knew I would never be as old as this! I have 2 GKs, one of each. Also have 4 grand-dogs. Would love to hear from anyone from class of 1960 or thereabouts.
