hool which followed art school, I landed a job as a secretary/bookkeeper with Sokolov Associates, Inc. of Syosset. I stayed there a year and a half. I interviewed and was hired for a secretarial position in the Mental Health Information Service, Second Judicial Dept, Apellate Div., NYS Supreme Court with offices in Pilgrim State Hospital, Kings Park Psychiatric Center and Central Islip Psychiatric Center. I worked there for five years during which time I got married and left just before the birth of my daughter a year later. My next job was in the office of John Trotter Ltd., fundraisers for the PBA. I worked there for 5 years. Several years later I got a no-brainer job in Mid-Island Department Store as a sales rep. and remained there for 5 years until I injured my knee in 1996. I have not worked since that time. I now have plans to return to school and pursue my first love; art.
