Katherine's Story
I have had a lot of questions about my last names. My last name at birth was Katherine Kenyon. My mother remarried when I was 10 years old. We moved to Ft. Worth. I attended Morningside and Wedgewood Middle School, and kept my biological name (Kenyon), because the state of Texas would not allow me to change my name without proof of legal adoption. f California could not have cared less what my last name was, as long as I had one. When I returned to Texas in 1986 I was forced to change my name back to Kenyon. In early 1987 I was legally adopted by my step father, and it was then that I officially changed my last name to Graham. In January of 2000 I started dating an old friend from college, Jeff Parker. This man is now my husband. Needless to say I changed my name one last time.
