Katherine's Story
I live on the east side of Paris, with my husband, Alain, and our 18-year-old son, James. I have resided in France for the past 30 years, except for a two-year sojourn in Tokyo to teach English and learn Japanese. I then went on to receive a graduate degree in International Business and Oriental Languages in France. Just after high school, and before moving to Europe, I went to Syracuse University for two years to study dramatic arts.

our prime activity. We have a couple of cats and live in a lovely city house that my husband Alain designed and built 15 years ago, which we now also share with three tenants. We quite enjoy their company and the house is very well designed so that we all live together quite contentedly.
When we aren't working, we travel widely with our son. We have had the good fortune to travel much of the world, including North Africa, South & Central America, and of course, Europe. Our son went on a high school exchange program to Argentina in 2014 and will graduate from a Parisian high school in June 2016. He's now applying to international business schools based in France.
