Life I lived the first 49 years of my life in Norfolk, basically in the same area, never wanted to venture away from my old neighborhood. In 2002 I retired from the City of Norfolk after serving, I mean working for 30 years in the Welfare Department (Welfare Fraud)and we moved to Blackwell Oklahoma. My greatest accomplishment is my son, Charlie who was due on my 40th birthday but being the Irishman that he is, he was late.I am enjoying the quiet life in Smalltown, USA, watching and enjoying my son growing up. We have gained a family member, we now have custody (until death us do part) of my just turned 16 year old nephew, Rudy Reilly (he has been with us since 10/10). He is on the Blackwell High School football and wrestling team and he is a pretty good kid. Our son is in his 2nd year of college and will graduate in December with his degree in Journalism and he is going on to either Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater, Oklahoma or Northeastern State University (NSU) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to get his teaching degree - he wants to be a high school English teacher, Workplace: I worked for the Blackwell Public Schools from 2003 to 2007 until I decided it was time to try something else. Family: My son is in the 10th grade now - he is very active in school - he is part of the football team this year - he is does all of the video taping of all games and practices - he travels with the team and is just one of the team in everyway possible. He surprised me by trying out and getting a part in the high school play "West Side Story" and much to our surprise, he can actually sing.
