I am now living in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area after moving from Kenner, LA in 2000. I miss the seafood terribly. They don't know how to cook it here in DFW...though the BarBQ is great!!!
I married my best friend, Lee, in May 2006. We just bought a house and are in the process of doing "improvements" on it. I am also almost finished with my studies in obtaining my Associates Degree in Business. I am going to take a 4-5 month break and go back to complete my studies for my BA in Business with a concentration in the Health Care area.
I work for a company that is specialized in the safe deposit area of financial instutions. We do it all from furnishing the forms need to run a safe deposit area to drilling the boxes when customers lose their keys. We also clean the safe deposit boxes and inst...Expand for more
all them. I schedule service for the whole state of TX and it keeps me very busy. It is amazing to see how many people lose the keys for their safe deposit box. They don't lose their house keys or car keys but they lose the keys where they store their most valuable or important stuff. Doesn't make sense to me but I guess I should be happy that they do. :)
I have 5 children, ranging in age from 31-20. I have 6 grandchildren ranging in age from 13-8 months. Most of my kids still live in the New Orleans area except for one. She moved to the Beaumont area after Katrina claimed her house. Poor child, she left Kenner for Beaumont just to have Rita come to Beaumont and damage her apartment. She felt like she was being chased. She and her husband and kids went back to Kenner, fixed up the house that was flooded from Katrina, sold it and moved to back to the Beaumont area.
