For you that have asked me to be more factual: Graduated with the lowest GPA in RHS history. Went to work at Boeing. (My daddy got me on.) Worked and went to beauty school at the same time. (Can you spell "exhaustion?") Got married 1968. Opened the newly built Southcenter Beauty Salon.(1968) Had a baby 9 months later. Became a Mom 3 times. Went to college to find out if I was "really stupid" or if my highschool GPA was just a hiccup in my life. (GPA 3.85) really proud of that...and I was 55! As my family grew I got older...But was very involved with their activities...Brian works as a exterminator (killing is his lifes work.) Scott owns his own Hydro painting business..and Gina is a lawyer for the City of Bremerton. (She was also Miss Seattle 1992...good scholarship money. (Miss America contest) I am now a grandmother with 5 grandkids ranging from 21 to 3 years. I moved to Mesa, Arizona to rest and relax. I voluteer and support a cat rescue. (the hardest job I have ever worked.) My best friend is Linda Rees..She is like a sister to me. We are only 2300 miles apart..but she is a good next door neighbor. I think that is everything...Oh Yah...Someday I am going to die.......Kathy I'LL TRY TO GET OUT THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN A TIMELY MANNER! LOL Hello! Well, lets see. What's been going on the last 5 years. Well, we had our 45th reunion. Fun time was had by all. I now work in a Kitty Kat shelter. I foster kittens and cats getting them ready for a permanent home. I love it! I have never worked harder. I live in Mesa, Arizona. I am slowly getting used to sunny days of 109 degrees. It was hard getting used to not seeing the grandchildren so often...but with the internet and the telephone...they don't seem so far away. Just got back from a trip to New Mexico..and Colorado. I was climbing in and out of old ruins and climbing on ladders 30 ft. long. It looked a lot more difficult than it really was...although it was a bit scary. I kept thinking that at 63 I should say on the ground. I love campng and RVing. I read a lot...but it must be Non fiction....unless it's about Dora the Explorer...I have to keep an open mind for my 5 year old granddaughter. Of course..Spider Man is another favorite character...Alex (3) loves him. (and so do I.) Linda Rees continues to be my very bestest friend in the whole wide world. We are Lucy and Ethel...Rees says I'm Ethel! Actually...She is most likely right. We are making plans to live in the same nursing home..and rockin' with the rhythm of the rain.
