Hi, I'm Kathleen aka Kathy Flaherty-Attardo, I graduated from Cardinal Cushing in 1988, I truly loved my high school years, I tell my daughter stories about how much fun we had, I was definitely a talkative, class clown and at the same time I was in all honors classes in Grades 9 & 10, I honestly loved school, I wanted to be there, so I'm forever grateful to everyone from the teachers to the students, I went straight to work afterwards. I met my husband in 1991 & married in 1995, I had my beautiful daughter in July of 1997. Long story short, my husband was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in February of 2021, he never even started Chemo or any other type of treatment & he passed away on October 24, 2021. My daughter & I were devastated, he died in his sleep, we try to find comfort in that. On my daughter's 24th birthday my Mom passed away at home from complications due to Aphasia and Early Onset Demetia. That was 7/16/2020. We've been through so much loss, I do my best to keep a positive attitude and I spend lots of time with my daughter and my siblings. I'm so grateful for each of them. I am truly blessed.
